Killing in the name (of) was Rage Against the Machine’s first single, released in 1992 and is my favourite song. There are loads of songs that make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck, but none like Killing in the Name.
The way Zack de la Rocha sings this song is straight from the soul, and it speaks to me in a deep, fundamental way.
